Mobile, Alabama - Providence Hospital Foundation Presents

The 17th Annual Festival of Flowers March 25-28, 2010 Providence Hospital Campus Mobile, Alabama

The 17th annual Festival of Flowers, produced by Providence Hospital Foundation, will bloom March 25-28, 2010. Acknowledged as the premier flower and garden event of the Greater Gulf Coast, the festival is arrayed under tent and sky on the campus of Providence Hospital. Over 300,000 square feet of exhibits enchant, entertain and educate visitors at this feast for all the senses. Selected by the Southeast Tourism Society (STS) annually for more than a decade as one of the Top 20 Events for March, the Festival has received acclaim from community, industry leaders and tourism officials.

The Mission

The Festival of Flowers, a volunteer-based annual garden and flower show, supports the special charitable programs of Providence Hospital's health ministry. The Festival is dedicated to the promotion of gardening and horticultural excellence while encouraging the preservation of the natural beauty of the environment and conservation of our natural resources. As it grows and expands, the Festival has a continuous goal of remaining one of Mobile's major cultural events and one of the premier events in the country.

2010 Proceeds

Proceeds from the Festival of Flowers will be used to purchase state-of–the-art infant vital signs monitors in the Louise Robinson Moorer Women's Center. Functioning to complete multiple tasks at once, the equipment will lessen exposure to infection and contribute to the infant’s comfort.
