Proceeds Benefit the Community

"The Foundation is our vehicle to reach for the stars, to touch more lives in more ways than we could ever do before. It works for and through the local community, giving back every gift that is given. The Festival of Flowers is a perfect example of that reciprocal giving - the community has the opportunity to enjoy the unique event, which helps us raise the funds we need to reach our dreams for providing the highest quality health care." -- Sister Elise Boudreaux
Proceeds from the 2011 Festival of Flowers will benefit Providence's Cardiology department with the purchase of advanced Echo/Vascular upgraded technology. The Echo/Vascular upgrade will allow state of the art digital imaging to be available for the physician to evaluate. These digital images will provide a higher quality of imaging to assist the physician in diagnosing heart issues and circulatory issues throughout the body. This upgrade would help to facilitate true continuum of care capabilities and would serve to expedite delivery of diagnostic services and physician decisions, potentially reducing patient's length of stay.
The Providence Hospital Foundation is grateful to the many sponsors, contributors, volunteers, businesses, and organizations that make possible the annual Festival of Flowers. Through this celebration, the Foundation seeks to benefit not only the Providence Hospital and its health care mission but the entire community by promoting an interest in gardening and beautification and encouraging the preservation of the natural beauty that is so much a part of Mobile's heritage.
