questions you might have regarding the set-up
and offerings available at our annual extravaganza.
Below are some of the more frequently asked questions

May I take pictures?
Is the Festival outside?
Yes. The Festival is under tent and sky, on the
campus of Providence Hospital. Most of the show
is arrayed beneath mammoth white tents.
Does
the Festival provide wheelchairs?
Although we do not provide wheelchairs, a portion
of the festival is wheelchair accessible. The
paths throughout the festival are at least four
feet wide. This show is also accessible for strollers.
How
long does it take to tour the festival?
The Festival is set up for visitors to tour at
their own pace. Visitors can spend the entire
day enjoying the displays and the seminars or
shopping and relaxing in the Garden Café.
On the average, the show usually takes a little
over 2 hours.
Are
there places to sit down?
There are benches and chairs located throughout
the show. The Garden Cafe' also has tables and
chairs for the convenience of Festival visitors.
As the show is outdoors, comfortable shoes are
recommended.
Is
there convenient parking?
There is ample parking at the show. Parking is
$2.00. Motor coaches can unload passengers near
the entrance before parking in a nearby lot. Handicapped
parking is available as well.
Is
there anything to eat at the Festival?
The Garden Café is open to visitors throughout
the hours of operation of the show. Beverages,
snacks, and light lunches are available. The Garden
Cafe' is the perfect place to linger awhile and
ponder the incomparable experience of the Festival
of Flowers.
Are
the tickets good for any day? Are they good for
only one day?
The tickets purchased are good for any one day
of the Festival.
Are
pets allowed?
We do not allow pets into the show.
Can
I smoke while at the Festival?
The Festival of Flowers is a smoke free environment.
Are
there bathrooms on site?
Although the show is outdoors, we do provide visitor
friendly restrooms. We provide trailer restrooms
with hand-washing facilities and flushing toilets,
as well as wheelchair accessible port-a-lets.
Are
there items for sale at the Festival?
The Festival of Flowers will enable you to "take
spring home in a bag". Close to 50 vendors
from throughout the country will offer everything
from garden accessories to garden tools and plants
in the Gardener’s Galleria. For information

Are
there opportunities to learn at the show?
The Festival of Flowers is fertile ground for
cultivating your garden knowledge.
In addition, the Seminar Series,
free to Festival ticket holders, offers an array
of lectures and demonstrations by noted garden
gurus. Experts on a wide variety of horticultural
related topics share their secrets for success.
Seminars and demonstrations are held in a special
tent in the area of the Gardener's Galleria. Check
under "Features" for the complete schedule.
In addition, Plant Doctors (Master Gardeners)
will be available to offer prescriptions for your
garden problems.
Be sure to bring paper, pencils
and camera to note plant specimens, tips from
the experts and of course landscape and floral
design ideas.
Will
the exhibitors be on hand to answer questions?
We encourage all exhibitors to remain on site
to answer questions, or receive comments from
visitors.
May
I take pictures?
Certainly. Visitors are encouraged to capture
their memories on film.
